Backlinks – Cruising The Web For Them

Backlinks Backlinks

Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page according to Wikipedia.  Inbound links were originally important as a means of web navigation, nowadays their significance lies in search engine optimization (SEO).  Backlinks now determine the popularity of a website.

Backlinks – How Do You Get Them?

You submit your website RSS feed to sites like:Goldenfeed.com, RSSMicro.com, RSSMotron.com, 2RSS.com, Feedboy.com, Feedplex.com, Feedbomb.com, Feedage.com, Feedraider.com, MillionRSS.com, RSSMountain.com, Feedagg.com. Submit the feed from your website to these organizations for recognition.

Next get inbound links  from other blogs.  You can advertise on blogs, but this can be expensive though.  You can acquire backlinks from blogging networks such as FreeTrafficSystem.com, and ArticleMarketingAutomation.com but the later is a pay service.  You can also buy blog reviews.

Next you need a couple of inbound links from an education (.edu) or government (.gov) site.  These may not be easy to get,  but they are extremely important to achieve, because these sites give you a trusted seed link that is very valuable.

You may purchase backlinks from several services selling this type of service, with varying price ranges depending on the size of your requirement.  I have seen prices of $35 for 2000 and $55 for 5000 links for your site.  Most of the prices seem quiet reasonable, especially since they enter the information at the sites for you.

In conclusion there are many opportunities to obtain backlinks, it just depends on how serious you are about gaining them.
